There's no axe to grind herein
Suppose today
someone fixes a surprise
showering you with a gift
you'd surely wonder
why out of the blue moon
there is a change of tack

with an endless spread of love
you'd surely be suspicious
perhaps behind the surface
there lies a hidden agenda
If subsequently
someone appears
with a myriad of ideas
you'd be more curious
what is this fellow
hiding under his sleeves…

In July 2008, I chanced upon a group of young adults eating at the food court of Suntec Convention Centre and a young lady who is an old friend, by the name of Magdalene, invited me to join them and so I did. Over dinner, she updated me of her fascinating adventures, as a lawyer by day and a social activist by night, organising young people for overseas community services in China. She had organised a team of like-minded young adults who have devoted themselves to serving the poor in the village…

Reasons for sleeping and waking up early.
Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their…

We measure time by seconds, hours, days, months, years, and we schedule our lives by this idea of time, racing around the clock to make sure we maximize it. This is time understood as

Many of us suffer from time pressure as we experience the compression of time in a rapidly changing world with so many possibilities and so little time to pursue them. Hence the oft-heard lament in Singapore: ‘Not enough time!'
At work, it is commendable that there are a few multi-taskers who seem to excel in doing several things simultaneously.
They remind…

What is Work-Life Integration
Work-Life Integration is living our life activities as one coherent whole for the good of our self, our family, our vocation, and our community.
